Iresco Computer Center BURUNDI

The IRESCO Computer Center is located in rural Burundi. RESCO in English stands for REStoring and Sustaining COmmunity. The Center provides computer training/services to build community.

The Center has recently launched a computer clubs program at local schools. Sudents in rural areas can now graduate before their fingers have touched a computer. Giving rural students access to computer education is an act of justice.

The Iresco Computer Center Burundi was formerly known as the African Youth Initiative Network (AYINET) Uganda Chapter. It was founded in 2005 and is based in Lira, Uganda. It is an independent national not-for-profit organization.

It provides physical and psychosocial care and rehabilitation in the regions of Uganda affected by the Lord's Resistance Army conflict, a two decade-long war.
